Meet Our Leadership Team
Luke Walden – Lead Pastor
Luke Joined our staff in February of 2020 and has a heart to see people effectively walking in
their God given Calling. He and Wife, Breanna, were married in 2019 and consider it an honor and joy to serve together. Luke is a huge Boston Celtics fan and loves a fresh pair of sneakers.
Pete and Elaine Giacalone – Care Pastors
Pete and Elaine Giacalone joined our staff in 2020. Pete Glacalone came to
know the Lord at the peak of the Jesus movement in the early 70's. After
salvation Pete entered Central Bible College where he received his B.A. in Bible.
He has served as Assistant Pastor, Youth Pastor and Lead Pastor.
Breanna Walden – Discipleship Pastor
Bre joined our staff in January 2018 and has a passion to see people connected to the heart
of Jesus. She oversees our connections teams, our discipleship groups and leaders, and our
prayer team. She and her husband, Luke, were married in 2019 and consider it an honor and joy to
serve together. Breanna loves to travel and is always down for a great book or podcast.
Javian Ortega-Rodriguez - Creative Director
Javian joined our staff in September of 2024 and has a passion to see God move in the midst of worship. He values excellence and the use of creative gifts as an expression of worship. He graduated from APLA in May of 2025.
Jonathan Ritenour – Youth Pastor
Jonathan joined the South Hills team in November 2025 and has a deep passion for discipling the next generation to live lives solely devoted to Christ. His heart is to help students develop a faith that is genuine, personal, and rooted in a growing relationship with Jesus.
Jonathan oversees South Hills Youth, Young Adults, and the church’s Photo/Video ministry. He is married to his wife, Dani, and together they have two children, Rhett and Skylar.
Kayla Creamer – Family Life Director
Kayla Creamer has served as the Family Life Director at South Hills Assembly since July 2022 and
oversees all children and family ministries. She and her husband AJ met at the church in 2010
and now have three children together. For fun, she enjoys reading, playing volleyball, and
collecting houseplants!
Pat Sutton – Grief Share Pastor
Pat joined our staff in 1997 and has been serving the body faithfully ever since. She has a passion to help those who are hurting or dealing with loss, and pastors our Grief Share Support Group. Pat is a total animal lover. She has one cat of her own but cares for every living creature, big or small.
